3 Sister's Story is one of the most well-known Hentai games to western audiences, this derives from the fact that it's a game with it's share of nice new ideas implemented in the classic H-game interface, and also because it's small download size made it a popular download and thus gave the game an undeserved level of popularity. Why undeserved? Because regardless of what you may read in those shady forums dedicated to these games, the truth is that 3 Sisters is nothing but an average Hentai title with a few good details thrown in.

Those good details however are worth mentioning and they include the much vaunted story. Well, actually the story is just pure soap opera garbage. You are an orphan that lost your family due to the evil machinations of some executive bastard, you lived all your life longing for revenge on this unknown figure and one day your long-lost brother shows up to tell you he's found the man. He lives together with his 3 daughters (hence the title) so you both hatch a plan that consists of you infiltrating the family as a schoolmate and friend of the girls and then screwing up their lives somehow. However when you are about to get to that screwing lives up part, the father disapears and leaves the family in disarray and your character has to fight between his psycho brother's urges to go ahead and take revenge, and the pity he feels for the now seemingly lost family and the sudden realization he might have deeper feelings for one of these sisters... Chan-Chan-CHAAAAN!!! Ah.. the passion, the dilema... is it an average afternoon on Telemundo? Nope it's 3 Sister's Story! Yeah...well, it's pure soap opera melodrama trash, but it's actually quite engaging and thrilling and the addition of mature content means things don't get as corny as they could get (going the raunchy route instead). And there's plenty of subplots to explore also.

Seeing as this is a Hentai game you can rest assured that somehow, someway, you will have sex with every female character you cross paths with. Each girl covering a specific fetish/stereotype so that you can get your fix regardless of what your tastes are (there's the tomboy, the jailbait, the slut, the sadomasochist, the shy girl and the wise, mature babe [understanding in these games as such someone of around 25 yrs of age, with 28 being the limit and being considered almost like a "village elder" of sorts...:))] among others). And this brings me to the next good addition to be featured in 3 Sister's story: the ability to pursue different sexual scapades parallel to the main storyline. I know what you are thinking, hardly an innovation, right? But for the first time I've ever seen, these girls are presented as optional "sidequests" that you can freely choose to take or not, with no impact on the main game at all. These "quests" involve helping this or that girl overcome a problem with the reward being sexual gratification for both your characters (and if you uh... "solve them all" you'll get to add even more notches to your bedpost). As for the 3 sisters, you will eventually find out they all have the hots for you, and whoever you choose determines the ending you get, thus giving you a small modicum of replayability.

Furthermore, unlike most Hentai games where you absolutely can't lose no matter how retarded you are, in 3 Sister's Story you can and will fail the game if you screw up. Things can end up in scandal or even worse, with such great moments as neglecting to use a condom and receiving a nasty surprise at the end of the game!!! (B-bu-but s-she said those were her good days!!!! ;D yeah baby!!) That alone earns the game some points in my book, seeing as how condoms don't usually seem to exist in Hentai games. And get this: if you try and help a certain hyper-shy girl to overcome her traumas by sexually assaulting her, (as per standard H-game rules) things actually go wrong!!! Wow!! After years of solving psychological traumas of all kinds on Hentai games by simply raping girls I finally stumble on a game that gives you the expected result of sexual molestation... heck, things go REALLY bad here, and to think all these years I had been thinking the key to psychology was rape... tsk, tsk, thank you 3 Sister's Story!
